We provide a service by;
- Supporting people aged 50+ into formal counselling services – home visits available. (Referrals can be taken for anyone living/registered with a Newcastle City GP)
- Breaking down barriers and stigma around mental wellness for people over 50
- Creating a holistic approach to referrals if hesitant to speak to GP
- Build safe spaces in the community for people to share, offering a safety net during waiting times
- Provide support to access additional community services including activities, peer support hubs and advice and information
