Perceptions of hospital care quality among adults with multiple long-term conditions study

One in four adults in the UK are living with multiple long-term conditions – two or more mental or physical conditions lasting for 12 months or more – which can result in complex care pathways and longer stays in hospital. Despite this, there is limited understanding of how people with multiple long-term conditions experience hospital care.

A new interview study aims to address this important gap. We are keen to speak to you If you are:

•              over 18 years old

•              have multiple long-term conditions

•              have experienced inpatient or outpatient care from a hospital in the past 12 months.

Taking part in the study involves an interview (in-person, online, or by phone) lasting around 90 minutes in which we want to hear how you feel about the quality of care you have received in hospitals.

If you or someone you know might be interested in taking part, please email Freya Thompson at f.thompson2@newcastle.ac.uk or telephone 07717 196211 for more information.
