Following positive discussions between Local Leaders, a ‘minded to’ devolution deal has been agreed in principle by the North East Combined Authority (NECA), North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA), County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, Northumberland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland councils.
