Me, Myself & Autism Programme
The North East & Cumbria Learning Disability Network is working with stakeholders across the North East North Cumbria Integrated Care System looking at how women with a learning disability are able to access reasonably adjusted care around assessment, treatment and support for the perimenopause and menopause.
We know people with a learning disability face greater health inequalities and poor experiences when accessing health and care services.
To support us to develop this work we are working with Sunderland University to carry out a service evaluation. We would like to hear from anybody working within a healthcare setting across North East North Cumbria who may have to assess, support or treat women with a learning disability for the perimenopause or menopause to gather your views.
This work will inform our improvement project moving forward.
You can support the work by completing a short 15 minute survey here: https://sunduni.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0jKeHXNhkyAM59A
The survey will close on the 31st July 2024.
Your time and feedback is greatly appreciated. Please cascade as appropriate.
Kindest regards
