| We’ve had an amazing response to our ageing attitudes quiz – over 5,500 people have already answered the quiz questions! Thank you. Some of the results included; * More than one in four people hold accidentally ageist views * A further one in five hold ageist views that indicate a bleak perspective on ageing * More than half of people admit using ageist phrases such as ‘you look good, for your age’ * Almost one in ten people believe older workers should retire to make way for younger people * One in seven people dread their milestone birthdays We are sharing these results with the media this week to provoke further discussion around ageism.
