AHSN / NENC Impact Report 2022 – 2023

We are delighted to share with you our Imapct Report which provides a snapshot of the AHSN NENC’s successes over the last year.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, it fills me with great pride to reflect on the team’s achievements over the previous 12 months. The report is testament to the hard work and effort of every single member of the AHSN NENC team and to our partners who continue to support our vision of improving the health and wealth of our region through innovation.

The report showcases the important role of AHSNs in supporting the development and spread of innovation across regional health services.

It features highlights and case studies from across our programmes and key priority areas, including the work we’ve been doing to reduce health inequalities, transform patient safety, support the development, adoption and scale up of innovations and drive digital transformation.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members, partners, collaborators and supporters who we have worked with over the last year. I’m proud to be part of a regional health and life sciences ecosystem that is committed to working collectively to share expertise, ideas and resource to improve the health and economic prosperity of our region.

There are exciting changes on the horizon for us as an organisation as on 1st October we change our name to Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria (HI NENC). We are very much looking forward to continuing to work closely with partners as we enter this new era.
