V for Life grant

Do you know an older vegan or vegetarian who could benefit from a V for Life grant?

The V for Life grant scheme aims to help older vegans and vegetarians who are in financial need to maintain their healthy vegan/vegetarian lifestyle and/or to be as independent as possible.

Grants are available for up to £3,000 and can be used to purchase anything from mobility scooters to fridge/freezers, to replacement flooring. Applicants must be aged 60 or over, in financial need, and have been a practising vegan or vegetarian for at least a year.

V for Life invites applications from organisations that work with older people who may need this kind of assistance.

Search (Search Newcastle – Helping Older People) are happy to support any charity based in the Newcastle area, should they choose to apply. They are also able to sign post people to other organisations should they require information with regards to organisations within the region. Contact us – Search Newcastle

Please note, applications from individuals are no longer accepted.

The deadline for the current round of applications is 12th October 2024.
