Examples of typical grants:
- £1,000 for a trip or event
- £5,000 to upgrade a community hall
- £10,000 towards the core running costs of an organisation.
The Trust operates on a rolling grants programme.
The funding can be used for both core costs, including salary costs and multiple year funding, as well as capital costs for charitable activities in the following areas:
- Arts and Culture
- Community Issues/Events
- Conservation/Horticultural/Biodiversity/
- Environmental
- Education/Training
- Health/Sport and Human Services
- Historic Buildings/Heritage
- Homeless/Housing/Hardship
- Public Services
- Service Charities
If you miss a deadline, your application will be considered at the following meeting.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their application at least three to four months in advance of their funding requirement.
