The NHS Health Check is a check-up for adults in England aged 40 to 74. It can help spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia

Community breast screening units have been set up in Newcastle

Breast screening – Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (newcastle-hospitals.nhs.uk)

If you are aged between 50 and 70 years old and registered with a GP you can take part in a breast screening.

Screening units are currently at:

Byker East End Pool, Hadrian square, Byker, NE6 1AL

Campus for ageing and vitality, Westgate Road (near the Walk in Centre), NE1 6BE
